A Lonely Flower

Do you think plants make friends too? It has been found that they can communicate with one another through chemical secretions. Are they capable of socialising? Forming communities? I’d imagine that a flower that is alone on a rock would feel lonely then. Unable to choose its own end and forced to stay there, what will it do?
