PANDA Redesign

I cannot go into a lot of detail on this due to NDAs.

The gist is that I redesigned one of the robots for Rehabilitation Robotics Lab, UPenn. I had to change the existing design into one which can be maintained easily, in case the internal circuits need to be changed.

I had the design 3D printed and documented a full SOP for it, along with BOM on the parts required. The final product was fully functional and modular, allowing for changes to be easily made. The interior housing for the PCBs even accomodated for the PCB to be placed in different angles. It was very challenging to design a housing that could support every function of the robot, given its purpose. It was a great learning experience regardless.

The design also supported modular wiring connections, enabling peripherals to be swapped out and maintained without needing to rewire the entire system.
